These shorts are the result of a long search for the perfect cut. We took the same dense, velvety twill used for the shirt and turned it into a comfortable, durable bottom piece that will last long and age beautifully.
The main challenge was that dense fabric in an oversized silhouette often "stands stiff" and starts looking like a skirt. The solution turned out to be simple and clever: we added side pleats at the bottom of the legs and secured them. This preserves the volume while letting the piece drape beautifully and follow the shape of the body. It gives the shorts a unique dynamic — they look loose, but never shapeless.
Durability and functionality here are on par with the style: oversized pockets for all your things; a grommet with a metal brush-logo charm (a removable element, just like on the shirt); branded patches and jacquard tags; a belt loop plus a removable paracord chain on carabiners. This element works like a wallet chain, only soft and springy: you can securely clip on your keys or headphones without worrying about losing them.
We kept a light distressed effect on the piece — subtle wear and a "lived-in" look. With these shorts, there's no need to worry about getting the fabric dirty or catching it on something: the more they live with you, the more interesting they'll look.
Minimalist embroidery at the bottom marks their place in the Artist on Tour collection. At first glance, these shorts are a simple item — but on closer look, they turn out to be extremely well thought out. They're not overloaded with details, yet every single one works toward the aesthetic and the function.
These are shorts that live alongside you, never get in the way of creating, and highlight your style — whether on the street, in the studio, or on stage.
