As usual, we discuss the idea with the customer before starting work. After the discussion, I proceed to a quick sketch, in which I work out only the general outlines of the composition, shape and color. I never make a sketch too detailed, because it will still be a little different in a live car. The volume and shape of the car body always make their own adjustments.
After we approve our sketch, we confirm the date and place of the painting with the client, and I also take a small prepayment for the purchase of materials and booking a location for the painting. I only work in specialized places to work with the car body to comply with the technological process.
In order to paint any car, I need a few days. In the case of a car, I need to thoroughly wash, prepare and degrease the car body, as well as protect all the elements of the car body that we cannot stain or damage. It also takes a lot of time to mark up a composition. Each line should correctly emphasize the anatomy of the body, and in the case of a symmetrical composition, it should also be the same on each side.
After everything is ready, I can start painting. I'm painting a car with a special pinstripe paint. This paint allows you to keep the pattern for a long time, due to the fact that it interacts with the car body varnish, but at the same time, if necessary, it can be washed off with a special solution.
After the drawing is ready, the car should stand for a day in a warm room. Wash the car at least a week after that.
Sometimes it happens that a correction of the pattern is required after washing. I can make this correction for free within a month after painting the car. After that, additional payment will be required.
